Order Production

All made to order items take approximately 4 weeks to complete and ship from date of order. Some items, such as tote bags, may take up to 6 weeks. If an item is available for Pre-Order, it may take up to 8 weeks or longer. 

Orders with 4 or more items may take 1-2 weeks longer than our current turnaround time.

**As of April 1, 2020- Our current turnaround time is approximately 10-12+ weeks.


Order Changes

Order changes can be made up to 48 hours from when the order was placed.

**Leather changes or complete order/item changes are not applicable.**

Each change will cost $3, plus whatever the fee/difference is for the applicable add-on or size change you are requesting.

(During the Christmas Season/ Christmas Orders, we will not be able to accommodate any order changes. (Oct. 1 -Jan. 6))

Damaged/Lost Packages

All packages currently go out via USPS Priority Shipping which includes tracking information. 

All orders are packaged with care and as such, Speckled Fawns is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit by USPS. Should your package arrive damaged, please contact your local USPS branch and speak to a supervisor.

For International Shoppers: Speckled Fawns is not responsible for any duties or customs fees on International orders and they remain the sole responsibility of the buyer. We are also not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

We are not responsible for incorrect addresses on packages. Please contact our customer service team before the item ships if you need to make an address change.


Order Cancellations

We are no longer accepting order cancellations as of January 1, 2017. 

Cancellations requested due to customer error greatly disrupt our production schedule and as such, we can no longer make any exceptions.

Once an order is placed, we will only cancel/refund under the following circumstances:
-if we run out of the leather required to complete your order
-if there is an error on our end with regard to your order

We cannot accommodate refunds for items that are delayed in the USPS system.

Should you have any questions or doubts about an item, please contact us first BEFORE placing your order.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Returns & exchanges are handled on a case by case basis.

Should there be a quality issue with your order once you receive it, please contact us within 30 days of receiving the item. If there was an oversight with quality, we ask that you send us a detailed message and include photos.

* Natural scratches, scars, cuts and brand marks are not defects or quality issues and do not qualify for returns or exchanges.

We will gladly refund shipping charges on returns if there was an oversight on our part and we will remake your order. We aim to process and complete returns in 1-2 weeks.

*If we cannot remake your order, due to lack of stock, we will refund you in full.

We ask that you fully research our leathers/ask all questions before purchasing. We cannot process returns solely based on personal taste (i.e. did not like leather)

*We will only process a refund if we cannot remake your order and we are notified within 30 days of it being received. We cannot remake or replace an item or process a refund if we are notified more than 30 days after the item is delivered.

*We cannot accommodate refunds for items that are delayed in the USPS system.
