This subtle leather has a nice medium texture and feels rich in the hand like an Italian glove leather. However I kept it at a nice medium weight / thickness of 5-6 oz. The temper is sturdy but not stiff. It will darken with use and scratches but barely show due to the light color. It will last a lifetime and should darken to a nice caramel.
